GO Isotonic Energy Gels

Loving these gels. This is the first gel that is easy to take while doing an activity. You don't have to struggle to make sure you get all of the gel and you don't waste half a bottle trying to wash it down. Much smoother than other gels that are like trying to eat peanut butter. And the taste is spot on.

One of my favorite flavors. Great product in that I don't have to worry about taking with water and timing them with aid stations during a race. I can take them whenever I want or need to.

At first I wasn't entirely taken by the flavor, but this turned out to be one of the best things about the Gels. There is more liquid than most gels I have used in the past, and often the intense flavor can be overbearing. SIS Gel's have a very subtle flavor and are extremely easy to consume, meaning you get the full benefit from the nutrition. I had no gastric upset from the Gel. I took the Gel 1 hr into a 2 hr ride. There was no sugar spike, just a maintained level of energy throughout the rest of my ride.

Tastes good and truly does not need to be taken with water--amazing! The only complaints I have are the full price ($$) and the difficulty to open the packs while running. If my hands are a bit sweaty, it is very hard to open the energy gel pack.

Unappealing flavor, sloppy and messy when opening and consuming while riding on bike, need to follow with water to get rid of after taste. I'll stick with my favorite GU gel which seems just as effective and much easier to open and consume with out mess. After using one package I'm done with this and have been giving them to friends to sample. No one has asked for a second sample.

This is a great product - the benefit is almost instant - right now I’m looking for something that’s more like a power bar - the trouble with bars is that they’re hard to get down - too much chewing and too sweet, so your mouth is full of sugar for an hour - if only there was something in between a gel and a bar that was more substantial, but easier to chow down on....

I really like these gels as they are easily digested and do not need to be taken with water; my only negative is that I bought a "bulk" pack and they have an exp. date of 02/19. I wish these would last a little longer.

This gels are absolutely amazing. Love everything about them. The flavors, the liquid texture to them and the best part, that they do not cause GI distress under any circumstances. I've used them in training and during racing and no problems whatsoever.

For five years I did long distance triathlons with Gu, water, and Gatorade. I always started to peter out at the end, and assumed it was just my training. Made the switch to this product, six months before my last half iron. PR the course by close to 25 minutes over my last half iron distance on similar terrain. The only changes I made were in fueling with this product and increased water intake.

Love the taste of the gels and the energy they provide for a long run. The only reason these aren't 5 stars is that the size of the gels don't always fit well into water bottle pouches or gel holders. These are slightly larger in height so I find I can't carry as many as I want.
